Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about my transactional repair process.
- What kind of code problems do you fix?
- I fix broken legacy codebases, business-critical custom tooling (in any language — Python, Node, PHP, Java, etc.), failing API integrations, and company websites that have gone down. I work at the source code level — diagnosing root causes and fixing them without forcing a full rewrite. Note: I do not work on spreadsheet macros or Excel VBA.
- What is your pricing model?
- Every engagement starts with a flat $150 diagnostic fee. I investigate the issue and provide a guaranteed, flat-rate quote. If you accept the quote, that $150 is credited toward the final repair cost. No hourly billing, no open-ended retainers.
- How fast can you fix my code?
- Most straightforward repairs are completed within 1-2 business days. I provide clear timeline expectations alongside your quote. If a fix takes longer due to unexpected complexity, there is absolutely no extra charge. I also offer priority emergency fixes for critical outages.
- Do you require long-term contracts?
- No. Every engagement is scoped and priced individually — you only pay for what you need. Many clients come back whenever something else goes down, and I'm always available. There's just no contract forcing you to.
- Do you offer onsite support?
- Yes. While most repairs are handled remotely, I can arrange a free onsite visit for clients in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley if the problem requires in-person access to physical hardware or local networks.
I Come to You.
No Extra Travel Fees.

Whether we diagnose remotely or meet in person, the standard $150 diagnostic fee covers everything. I do not charge additional travel or call-out fees within my service area.
